Not just finding the culprits stealing your WiFi Connection, If you are a Geek you may need to find out the ip address assigned to the devices connected to your WiFi connection. Here in this post we will show you how you know , Who are connected to your WiFi connections in multiple ways.

Finding Devices Connected to WiFi Connection

Via Router:

netgear attached devices
Your Router configuration page can provide you so much of information about your WiFi connection including the Number of people connected to your WiFi connection.
To know who are connected to your Connection and using your Internet Connection, Finding out who is connected on your Router configuration may be listed under different names like in my case it is Attached Devices in NetGear, And It may be different in your router so please refer to your router manual to find out where you can find.

By using Tools:

devices on wifi connection
If you are not comfortable using the above method to find out who is using your WiFi connection from router then you can opt this method,
In this method you will be using a small tool to scan your WiFi connection for the connected devices,
So get this Wireless Network Watcher tool by NirSoft from here, Just download the program file and run the tool, As soon as you run the tool you will get the complete list of devices connected to your WiFi connection along with their assigned IP address and Mac Address.
This tool has some advanced settings like scanning for connected devices on your network within specific region of ip address.
And in this software you can also trigger a new sound when new device is connected to your WiFi connection.
Note: You can only scan the networks to which you are connected, You can’t scan the networks which you are not connected to.
If you are using tools like Connectify and mHotSpot to share your Internet connection over WiFi then you need not use the above tools as they give you complete details by default.
And it is always recommended to set a strong password for your WiFi Connections to secure.
